We believe the final mile — getting your furniture safely from our store into your home and installed correctly — is just as important as everything that comes before it.

That's why we don't subcontract our Isle of Wight deliveries.

Our delivery team has decades of combined experience in delivering furniture into customers' homes. They understand that every home is different and know how to handle everything from a large corner sofa to a solid wood dining table or bedroom furniture.

Just as importantly, they understand the furniture itself.

Our team has extensive knowledge of the products we sell and install, so they know how individual pieces are constructed, how they should be assembled and how to handle them carefully during delivery.

They don't simply deliver a box to your door. They deliver, assemble and make sure your furniture is where it needs to be.

We take care with your property as well as your furniture, and our assembly service means your new furniture can be properly installed and ready to use.

Every furniture order is monitored by the owners of Readers from the moment it is placed through to final delivery.

That means we can keep track of your order, communicate with our suppliers, coordinate delivery and deal with any issues that arise along the way.

It also means there is accountability at every stage.

When your furniture arrives at your home, our delivery team already knows what they're delivering and how it needs to be handled.

Free delivery and professional assembly

For our Isle of Wight customers, delivery and professional assembly are completely free.

We also remove the packaging, leaving you with your new furniture in place and ready to enjoy.

And some large items, such as dining tables, wardrobes and beds, always usually need in-room assembly. We set aside the time to do this professionally, with experience, knowledge and care.

It's all part of the service. There are no unexpected delivery or assembly charges added at the end.
